James, thank you for your insight into what "spirituality" can - and should - mean: what we do in our day-to-day lives. While I don't anticipate ever having to confront a violent opponent face-to-face, I do aspire to interacting with everyone around me in a way that does not deny or deprive them, while not "being a victim" myself. I think this principle of non-dissension is a very effective means of spiritual growth.
