There where two clips of the 22 kata. Do you think that the one "22 kata" (Tohei style) doesn't give any sence of that either? Then I have to disagree. I find that clip performed (by Peter Spangford 5 dan shidoin aikikai, 3 dan Ki no kenkyukai) first slow and then fast looks very much like how I have seen Tohei perform it on video.
