I had the opportunity to see live sumo only once when the "Sadogatake Beya" visited Israel
a few years ago. They held a demonstration in the ancient Roman theater in the archeological park of Caesarea
. I'm pretty sure that the Romans didn't have sumo performances but the ancient theater provided the appropriate feeling of a wresting show.
