First of all, great column!

Hence the following:

A question:
Do you have a method to teach these different kinds of aiki?

Some thoughts:
Why call the "aiki of movement" aiki? I fail to come up with any martial art that doesn't employ this kind of aiki, so it is not specific to aikido. You can call it aiki because it is part of aikido, but that doesn't seem to me good enough a reason.
I would rather say the "aiki of unity" is the only aiki and the "aiki of joining" is a poor version of true aiki. And perhaps the only way to get from 'joining' to 'unity' is developing internal strength. (I lack the skill to state this, but I believe it to be true.)
