Jiyushinkai Club at Texas A&M

I have a friend from my dojo who's moving to the area, and he's emailed them a couple of time and haven't heard back from them. Can someone please tell me if they are still active? And how would an Aikikai shodan transfer into your style anyway. My freind is a straight shooter and has some very strong aikido as he hails from the Florida Aikikai days of hard tough training. Please let me know. He's moving in less than a week.
