Endo Shihan in Seattle, April 8-10

Posted 2004-10-25 06:36:14 by Glenn Leichman

Endo-Shihan, 8th Dan, Hombu Dojo, will teach a seminar in Seattle, WA, the weekend of April 8-10, 2005. Endo-Shihan was a student of O-Sensei's, and studied with Yamaguchi Sensei. He teaches seminars around the world and is known for his emphasis on musubi, or connectedness. This will be his first ever visit to the United States.

Is there any more information about this seminar available? Such as the hosting dojo, the cost, or registration information?

I'm interested!

I would also be very much interested in this seminar. I attended Endo Sensei's seminars at his home dojo in Saku three years in a row, and really enjoy his teaching. I'm guessing that since nothing more has been said about this, that the Seattle gig may have been cancelled?

If someone who knows could say something, I'm sure we'd all appreciate it.

I've trained with Endo Sensei a few times in Japan, if you can get to this seminar, you should do so. If it's anything like the classes I've attended, it will be an experience well worth having.

Hi David,

As far as I know, the Seattle seminar with Endo sensei is still happening. We have a flyer up at the dojo about it. I'll try to get more information from the flyer when I can.

Does anyone have any more info on Endo sensei coming to Seattle in April? I need more info before I book plane tickets. Previous posts have dates but I was wondering what venue, who is hosting, are the dates correct, cost? I have been searching online but this is the only place that I have heard about it. Any new info would be great. I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants to know more. Thanks

Endo sensei was in Finland last week. I attended both yudansha seminar + weekend seminar (for all levels). I really recommend to check the Seattle seminar if you have a possibility!!!
