I was doing some weapon stuff the other night and noticed my repetoire isn't what I'd like. It struck the same old way and I took it away in the same old way. I'm looking for new ideas.

Any suggestions on weapon videos with an emphasis on take aways? Doesn't have to stay in the Aikido realm. Book suggestions on the subject also welcome.

Thanks!

Guess I was good.

Anyways, the Russian Martial Art is very interesting stuff. The guy is good. He's very smooth and relaxed. I dunno, maybe parts of it are radical in comparison to Aikido (the knife finishing work is definitely intended to finish) but I think it's very compatible nonetheless. He connects, he flows and he's not rigid.

A big thanks for this suggestion.
