If anyone knows...where do Tohei sensai and Chiba sensai teach?

I've read "aikido in daily life" by Koichi Tohei
and read interviews by Chiba sensai and what they both have to say interests me greatly. I hope someday I can learn from them both.

Thank you

Damien

I believe Tohei sensei teaches in Japan primarily. The Ki Society headquarters is in Tokyo, but I seem to remember a "Ki no Sato" dojo which is not in Tokyo. The Tokyo dojo is:

Ki no Kenkyukai Tokyo Hombu Dojo
Address: No. 101 Ushigome Heim 2-30 Hara-machi, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo Japan 162
Phone: 81-(0)3-3353-3461-2
Fax: 81-(0)3-3353-1897

Chiba sensei teaches at the San Diego Aikikai:

San Diego Aikikai

Phone: (619) 280-0082
Fax: (619) 280-7059
Instr: T.K. Chiba, 8th dan

Both of the above information can be found in the AikiWeb Dojo Search Engine.

PS: It's spelled "sensei"...

Does Koichi Tohei Sensei still teach? I thought I had read a recent interview with him in which he stated that he was essentially retired and was preparing to name his son as the new head of his style and organization. I could (very easily) be wrong, though.

the Ki-no-sato is like a Ki college, from what I've read. I don't have any of my books handy (I'm in my dad's office) so I can't tell you where it is just yet...

Yes.
Being 80 he doesn't travel much anymore.

His son, Shinichi, is currently director of overseas programs.

Both he and his son will be in Maui,
Hawaii in March, 2001 to celebrate
the grand opening of the Maui dojo,
to teach a 3 day seminar, and to hold the national chief instructor's conference.
