The Birth of Morihei Ueshiba

A scan for the day, from "Ueshiba Monogatari" - the birth of Morihei Ueshiba, December 14th 1883.

Best,

Chris

Cute! And it also supports my belief that aikido comes from babies.

See the right side of the page, lower left corner. The baby looks like Morihei in action. Already doing irimi.

:)

Truly, though, it's hard to believe how much that man's birth has affected my life. I think of the driftwood dragon head in Mochizuki Sensei's dojo and know that he was deeply grateful to Morihei Ueshiba every day.

Thanks.

David
