Hey, what is that thing you are doing instead of "Migi nagari gaeshi tsuki"? On your Jo suburi?

Hi Chris,
I seem to have caused you slight upset upon reading your short reply. I am happy to explain: I thought the eight cuts could be followed by a thrust, which add an extra move and concentration to execute all sides. I think this is quite a normal exercise to include something extra to the original Happo Giri. I am aware of the Jo exercise and only emphasise this exercise with the ken. The principle is still within the teaching principles using hanmi, kokyu & zanchin. |

I wasn't upset, I think you should do whatever you want with your practice. I had just never seen that before, and you didn't list what it was.

Thanks for your reply Chris. I thought I put a mention on the video though... Well never mind, I think it is self explanatory when viewing the video.
