Best Puzzle mats
Hello to all,
Before I spend a great amount on puzzle mats for my small school, does anyone have any recommendations of which is best? Thanks! |

Never used this supplier myself but I did have 1/2 inch EVA foam puzzle mats like the ones they sell and they lasted almost 15 years of heavy use and are still going. I think the 1 5/8 inch would be even better. Best LC |

www.Getrung.com
Prices get cheaper the more you buy - shipping is included - great company to deal with. Had mine a year now and they hold up great! Order the bags if you plan to transport, and stay away from the red ones. Contact me directly if you need more info. |
Re: Best Puzzle mats
Just a note: GETRUNG has 9 mats (1 inch thick) for about $250 (shipping included).
For 9 mats through Greatmats.com, they want $180 for the mats, and $146 for shipping ($326). Be VERY careful to calculate shipping in the final cost before purchasing! |
Re: Best Puzzle mats
Hi, I'm looking to buy a few mats, just to practice Ukemi on at home, I don't have space inside, so will have to use them on my decking outside. I can generally find either 20mm or 40mm, I guess 20mm is a bit too thin?

Re: Best Puzzle mats
9 Circles sell tatami mats, not that cheap but in their sales section they have a few for sale still....

Re: Best Puzzle mats
If you are putting mats on a concrete slab (ground floor) look to a thicker size, possibly 2"). If it is on a 2nd floor, already carpeted, or an aerobics floor you will be able to use a thinner mat, 1 1/2 or 1 5/8.
Check with the vendor's recommendations. |

It's a raised wooden floor

Re: Best Puzzle mats
I'd look into the Swain Flexi-Roll. It's a little pricey, but if you are not going to build your own mat, I think overall it's the best deal out there, and convenient, too.

Re: Best Puzzle mats
Thanks, but a lot bigger than what I want. I literally think that 3 puzzle mats would do me, and at most I have room for 6.
Thanks anyways :) |
