Judo Master Visits Aikido Dojo
 

Thanks to a longstanding friendship between Gayle Fillman Sensei at Ukiah Aikido and Keiko Fukuda, 9th Dan Judo, we were graced with a visit by this 96 year old - the Ukiah Daily Journal runs a short version of a longer article that will appear in the iaido journal. Additional links to follow.

One of my judo instructors trained with Keiko Fukuda when she (my instructor, that is) was a child. She mentioned it in passing the other night. It went totally over my head - I didn't realize who she was talking about til the next day. :blush: I'll have to see if I can get some more stories out of her.
