Ushiro Sensei Seminar: Shindoryu Ushiro Karate Seminar 10/25 & 26

Aikido Arts of Shin-Budo Kai is pleased to announce the return visit of Ushiro Sensei to New York. He is widely regarded as one of the better martial artists teaching today. His use of Ki in his style of karate typically exceeds the level of Ki found in most Aikido instructors today. This is a rare opportunity to train directly with someone at his level of martial arts development.

When: Saturday, October 25 & Sunday, October 26: 9am. - Noon & 2:30pm. - 4:30pm. both days.

Where: Aikido Arts of Shin-Budo Kai
185 Adams Street
Bedford Hills, New York 10507
914-242-3636
www.aasbk.com
(unless the enrollment results in a larger space requirement).

Costs: $150 per day or $250 for both days. Due to the SIGNIFICANT INCREASE in transportation costs to and from Japan, I have had to charge more than the last seminar (more than I would have liked to have charged). I apologize for this pricing!

The last seminar SOLD-OUT QUICKLY! If you want to reserve a space, contact me as soon as possible! Spaces will go on a first-come, first-serve basis. Preferences will also be given to two-day participants.

Re: Ushiro Sensei Seminar: Shindoryu Ushiro Karate Seminar 10/25 & 26

This post is a commercial break from the endless debate as to who has what and will gain it in what time frame and ......... in order to provide people with an opportunity to experience someone who already has "it."

I am pleased to announce that due to the strong demand for this seminar, the this seminar will be moved to a larger venue!

This seminar will be held in the main gym at the Rippowam Cisqua School. The address is 325 West Patent Road, Bedford Hills, New York 10507. This private school has a beautiful new gym with bamboo flooring! This venue is conveniently located within a five minute drive from the Bedford Hills Train Station. Transportation will be provided from the train station to and from the venue, before and after the seminar.

This larger venue has opened up some more space for those who want to attend.

Hope to see some of you there!

Re: Ushiro Sensei Seminar: Shindoryu Ushiro Karate Seminar 10/25 & 26

Due to the economic downturn a number of people have had to withdraw from the seminar. As a result of this, I have decided to move the seminar and hold it at my dojo. Please note, the new venue address is now:

Where: Aikido Arts of Shin-Budo Kai
185 Adams Street
Bedford Hills, New York 10507
914-242-3636

This also means that there are less than five spaces remaining.

Re: Ushiro Sensei Seminar: Shindoryu Ushiro Karate Seminar 10/25 & 26

I would like to extend my deepest appreciation to the attendees at this highly successful seminar. It is truly humbling to have a highly regarded teacher who teaches 600-800 students a month in Japan come and teach a seminar in such a small venue. His personal teachings to the attendees were very well received. The growing list of well-known martial artists from a variety of disciplines who are attending his seminars is a testament to value of his teachings.

Ushiro Sensei has agreed to return to my school on May 16 & 17, 2009. He is planning on coming to this school two times a year (May & October). Ushiro Sensei has strongly encouraged people to read his soon-to-be-released, English version of Karate and Ki. This book is a powerful book directly dealing with his ideas and philosophies behind his teaching. He looks forward to being able to offer a higher level of teaching based upon the progress that he has been observing in the attendees in the US.

Thank You Again!

Marc Abrams
