Problem sending notifications to Yahoo?
 

Hi,

Usually when I join a thread, I tab the "instant e-mail notification" option, but lately, I've noted I haven't received notifications of threads that were replied to. My e-mail address is on Yahoo, and I was wondering if there was a problem e-mailing notifications to Yahoo -- if they were blocking the address somehow? A few weeks ago I noted notifications ending up in my "bulk" folder. Has it been blocked altogether? Of course, if I get the notification for this thread, we'll know it isn't. But I thought I'd ask.

Hi Michael,

As far as I can see looking through the mail logs on the server, I don't see any sort of mass problems with sending e-mail to yahoo.com.

Are others who are using yahoo.com receiving thread subscription notifications?

PS: It looks like the server just sent you a piece of e-mail to your yahoo.com address, Michael, according to the mail logs -- probably the thread notification...

Hi, Jun,

I just checked my e-mail and the notification for this reply was there.

I was worried because a few weeks ago, Yahoo was putting the notificaitons in my bulk folder, but I checked the intermediate headers and there's no reference to "bulk" now. So I guess it is now ok.
