Hello Aikido

Hey all,
Just started the trail membership at a nearby dojo and have taken two classes. The dojo has only about a dozen members, and this is the first time in awhile that Sensei has taken new members into the trail program. There are five of us in the program, which lasts about a month and is a period for us to see if the dojo is a place where we can train, and for Sensei to see if he can train us. I have my third class tonight and am looking forward to it, at the last class there were only three of us (students) and Sensei, which was really cool.

See ya around the forums,

Murph

Hey Taylor,

Welcome! I will not say I am "new" to Aikido but, I am still learning and do know that it is a process and a life long journey. I joined my dojo 11 months ago and and have progressed naturally. It is both trying and rewarding. My situation was a little different I was on the only "non" ranked student learning one on one with my sensei who has obtained a 7th Dan in Tomiki. I consider myself extremely lucky to receive such training. I am sure you will find success for it is in the eye of the beholder. Welcome, and I hope you will find success within the art of Aikido.

Ken
