Cancer and the Martial Arts

Hi everyone.
Its that time again!
I am again organising 'The Sunderland International Festival of Martial Arts, an annual event (which is in its Fifth year). Primary aim is to Raise funds and awareness for Cancer Research UK. Secondary aim/s - To bring together all martial arts as a 'family' to meet, make friends/contacts, exchange ideas, provide a forum for sharing, raise public awareness as to the quality, opportunities, people and benefits to be achieved through martial arts.
Also have a great spectacular, fun day out.
This year we have Lion Dancers, and more than a dozen different Arts demonstrating their 'thing'.
Some of the arts - Aikido, Aikijitsu, Iaido, Chinese Weapons, Kenjitsu, Judo, Kickboxing, Jujitsu, Jitsu (Kempo), Fencing, Karate, Taekwondo, Awasa (Weapons) Etc.
Many senior experts, including World, European and British champions/Gold medalists and their students will be in action from 10:30am till 4pm on Saturday May 7th 2005, at the Seaburn Leisure Centre, Sunderland, Tyne & Wear, England.
If anyone in the area would like to come along, please contact me for further info: psethp@yahoo.co.uk
Thanks
Peter
PS: if anyone would like to stage a similar charity event and you want any advice, info etc please contact me. Only too glad to help.

Being a survivor myself, I'd go. But a trip to the UK isn't in the budget. =( Best of luck to you.
