You know something's wrong...

...when you find yourself wanting to do more suwari waza.

i am thinking ... rabies shot, at the least, tetanus shot.

if you mumble to yourself - tetanus shot
if you grunt and/or growl - rabies shot

Lie down until the feeling goes away?

Although I actually understand where you're coming from. It teaches valuable things, and most dojos probably don't do enough of it.

Onegaishimasu, I have found that wanting to practice suwari waza is before you know something is wrong. You want to look at the basics again from there, look at the omote and the ura, go back and forth from sitting to standing, you are working on having a whole practice. Wild, grandiose aikido doesn't interest you anymore. I think the art goes deeper into your body as you age and your body changes. My 2 cents. In gassho,

You go to brush something off your shoulder, and you find that it is the floor.
