New England Aikikai 2006 Spring Seminar
So this thing happens in Boston, March 17th, 18th, & 19th. As usual we will go with some good old friends.
However there is always a place to meet new friends from Aikiweb. If you like aikido as Budo :D (this time not only in words, but in real practice  ) , don't hesitate anymore. The instructors are Kazuo Chiba Shihan, Claude Berthiaume Shihan, David Farrell Shidoin. Excellent beer after practice.......anyone? |

From the These Things Always Happen at the Same Time File: It sounds like great fun, but I can't make it: I will be having my brain fried by Sifu Dan Inosanto at a Kali/JKD seminar that very same weekend in the Metro New York area. It's part of his 70th Birthday Tour; I registered online a few weeks ago.
Guro Andy and I keep wondering who's pottier about seminars: The JKD Concepts world (Jun Fan/JKD, Kali, Silat sytems, Thai Boxing, Grappling, European Systems) or the Aikido world. We figure it's neck-and-neck. This proves it. |

Don't forget that the 17th is St. Patrick's Day ("Drinking day," as one of the instructors at NEA called it). That's always a big event in Boston, and one more reason to go to the seminar for those who are into that sort of thing. ;)
