Book Title: Aikido: Tradition and the Competetive Edge
Book Author: Shishida, Fumiaiki; Nariyama, Tetsuro

Review author: Chris Hartigan
Rating given: 5 (out of 5)

Review:
This is THE book for anybody doing Shodokan Aikido or anybody interested in finding out the true goal of randori practice in aikido.

Understanding the principles behind the exercises is the main goal of this book. Whilst the training program at the Hombu has changed a little since the original Japanese was written the principles are clearly explained and should dispell any myths about Randori in Aikido.

This is not just another book talking about Ki and Centre, there is a real difference in the explanation of the principles of Aikido from basics to advanced.
