Here's an article I found on aikido being taught at a naval base in San Diego, California. The article starts out, "Sailors looking for something a little different in their physical fitness regimen can now take advantage of a course in the Japanese defensive martial art of Aikido at the Olde Gym at Naval Base San Diego (NBSD)."
