What is true Budo?

hey guys... im up for a 2nd kyu test, after the actual test comes a small Q & A portion. Now, I've heard from a classmate who tested ahead of me that this question was asked. While I'm formulating my answers, I'm wondering what other aikidokas think about Budo. So here it goes.

In your own words, what is true Budo?

I've always regarded it as taking the principles of a warrior and applying them to everyday life. Walking a warriors path if you will.
