I have looked at those pages, but they have no specific exercises abt training on ki. I want to know what exercises they do and how they do it. eg.(Kokyuho) I would like to know specifc details on their exercises.

the basic aikido exercises are the very first step to ki development, just remember the four principles of aikido and make it five, constant practice...as you go along the course of your practice or training you'll discover your own development; coordinate your movement with your breathing, go with the flow of yin & yang they move clockwise and counter-clockwise...

http://www.izs.org/newsite/publication/booklist.htm Go 3 books down, and you will see a book called "Hara Development". We have used these exercises on our training and it has proven to be VERY useful. |
Why don't you join the dojo and practice for some time. There is nothing like "sweat practice". If you have some free time "Ki in Daily Life" by Tohei sensei is a good book to get the "intelectual feeling" of :ki:

http://www.round-earth.com/books.html Then there is the old mindbodymodem Kokikai site with some flash animation. I think it's still around. but you really are better off going to a dojo and getting experience of the exercises first-hand. Craig |

Here's a sight I stumbled across. I hope it helps (Disclaimer: It helps to have an instructor show you these excersises and perform them with you so that he can correct and guide your movements) Peace and Blessings. :triangle: :circle: :square: |
