Justin Christou joins the Budokwai in Chelsea

We are pleased to announce Justin Christou, 5th dan, is to become the chief instructor at the Budokwai in Chelsea, London. Justin was an uchideshi for eight years under Saito Sensei from March 1995 to June 2003. He takes over from John Cornish (Hombu dojo 1958-1964)whom has been teaching for 46 years. Good luck for the future to Justin Chistou Sensei as he has a hard `act` to follow after Cornish Sensei's 46 years.

You are very very lucky people, very difficult to find anyone with the pedigree that J has. 8 years with the Chief and his son! lucky buggers lol

Many thanks for your good wishes and Christou Sensei has arrived! Good strong powerful technique...as Cornish Sensei would say the "same but different".

Great news for the lucky Budokwai Aikidoka. All the best wishes for Justin Sensei. Being able to train under him is an opportunity of a lifetime.
