Hello

Hello, I am a new member to AikiWeb and to Aikido! I started my training in Greenville, Texas a week ago after researching several different styles. I've wanted to try this for years and finally made the jump. Any suggestions on books to read to further my studies would be appreciated. :)

Hi leslie, welcome to aikido and aikiweb. :)

"The Way of Aikido" by George Leonard is good for "off the mat" applications of aikido.

"Aikido and the Dynamic Sphere" by Adele Westbrook and Oscar Ratti was a good starter for me.

Congratulations on beginning your training! :)
