BAB Course in Crystal Palace 21/10/06

Anyone going to this?

Am undecided...Sure I'll enjoy it when I get there, but it means getting up at 6 am, getting home at 9 pm plus fuel and course costs to consider too. :(

a day with my daughter lost...and am on a coaching course on sunday. :straightf

Driving in london...

Anyone want to share their enthusiasm to boost mine which is flagging a bit.

Cheers

Get your lazy bum out of bed and get on the freakin' road! I just found out about it today and I plan on going....The course itself is ridiculously cheap only (£20); and while I've only practiced with Gwynne Jones Sensei, I'm sure the experience of the others will be well worth the sacrifice....

If I was with 19 gals jumping in a minibus I'd be a lot keener.

Heck - I'd probably pay £20 to come on the bus. :D

Keep in mind that Chiba Sensei's 40th anniversary seminar is the weekend after; again in London. Almost all of the people I've talked too on this subject are inclined toward Chiba Sensei's weekend celebrations.

Went to both events and found both extremely enjoyable.

The common feature was the friendship and mutual respect shown by all participants toward each other; and of course for me the chance to see and train with people I hadn't seen in a long time.

IMHO if you attend such events with an open mind then fun can be had by all.

Dear Phil,

You are of course absolutely right; I allowed my personal opinions of the BAB to influance the 'tone' of my post and for that I extend my apologies to those in this thread.
