They say that the journey
Is the most important thing
Not the destination
So, focus on the journey
The process of becoming...
Well, I sometimes get really tired
Of the damn journey
The hardship, the loneliness
The pain, and loss...
I just want to get there! And bypass all that tedious suffering
But, the destination is not always
So easy to find
To know what it even is, sometimes
And, as time passes, it can even change
So, we are stuck with a journey, after all
That slow, step, by bloody step, journey
Replete with pain, and suffering, and loss
But some joy, too...!
And, each moment is a moment
Of pure discovery
Of the universe and of ourselves
So, I try to relax and just embrace
My journey and my shifting destinations
