So how long should it take you to move up to white with a black strip level or any level for that matter?

i have been doing this for 2 months then I went to london for a month and then back for about 2 so like 4 months or about 96 hours of traing. Sisay saiad that I would test soon but then he never relly did get arond to doing it. He also siad I was going to do a pratice test last class but did nto do that ither. I jsut courious beicuse I knwo that there are few who got to 5th que in 3 months or yello belt. I have not even goton to 7th que. So , thats why I was wordering.

Our association minimun for the first test (6th kyu, still a white belt) is 20 training days. I took 36 days, over the course of 4-1/2 months. But the bottom line is that you test when Sensei sees that you are ready. There will be a lot of variation between people. Remember, there's no rush to "get there." Enjoy the journey.
