Here in Aikido, there is no time,
There is here and now, there is the divine,
Here in Aikido there is no power,
There is only comfort, the effortless flower.

Here in Aikido there is no control,
Just blending and mending the heart and the soul,
Here in Aikido the spirit is free,
No enemy, no contest, you the universe and me.

Here in Aikido where nothing is taken,
We give and receive and we slowly awaken,
Here in Aikido Samurai and Budo converge,
The heart of the Samurai, to love and to serve.

You are welcome. My poems, which I also put on my facebook page, are copied by a member of this forum who hardly posts any more and actually puts them in her 'blog' magazine and has them translated into two more languages. So they are also in German and Spanish 'out there'. Anyone has my permission to use them how they wish. Thanks for asking. G.
