Some days I am like Aikiman; I can flatten uke with a a thought. Then on other days I'm a n00b.
I hate having to learn this Aikido nonsense when I'd rather be working on aiki-do. Why learn technique when body skills are 90% of it all? Or rather why focus on it so much?
And Sensei's talking about training up for shodan. I still have zero interest in it. This year, next year, five years, ten years, never, I don't care. Better things to do.
