As promised:

A few rough edges. (Darnit, I do *so* know those jo techniques!) But on the whole I'm pretty satisfied.

Even better I'm excited that I get to train in the 4th-kyu and up classes now. A chance to feel completely lost and incompetent all over again.

Congrats on passing. I have always wanted a blue belt.... We don't use the colored belts in my dojo and my previous style didn't use blue belts either, but we did have purple!

Thanks Tim. :-) That's exactly what I was trying for. Sensei asked, in our group huddle afterward, if I was nervous. I thought I was just intently focused, but not too freaked out, but in retrospect, yeah, I was nervous. There's something to look at between now and 3rd kyu - staying relaxed and present.
