Beyond the sounds lies the end of all fight,
Beyond the sounds is not sound but pure light,
Beyond the sounds is the end of all violence,
Beyond the sounds is the sound of silence.
As yesterday I heard the sound of 'u' (ooh)
The void, the place of no thought and no you,
But from nothingness something became true,
As truth was revealed as the light shone through.
As yesterday I heard the sound of 'o'
Time seemed to stop and I froze, temporarily though,
As all manifested in form like a glow,
Time disappeared and yet now remained so.
As yesterday I heard the sound of ah,
All was near no matter how far,
All was embraced and all understood,
All was o.k. in fact all was good.
As yesterday I heard the sound of 'i' (ee)
Through space and clearness I could now see,
Spirit awakened and joined in with me,
Spirit in joy was immaculate and free.
Then as I floated beyond and above,
The whole universe became the universe of love,
No sounds, quiet motion, calm flow and still center,
Both inside and outside allowed peace to enter.
The birds started singing, the clouds cried with joy,
The seas and the oceans at one became free,
The heavenly gates released holiness to employ,
True essence, true nature, true harmony, Aiki.
