Me: "Whatever." (laugh)
John: "Wharever, yeah. (laugh) Again."
John shomens.
Me parries, tenkans.
Me: "No, no tenkan!"

Okay, well, I'm getting there! And that didn't even touch on my back-falls...a mix between a crumble, a slap, and a roll... Hehe, I'm trying to do too many things at once...
Need to just roll or just slap, not both. John tried doing one and almost hurt himself...it's one of those arts only newbies are good at...and one I hope I soon unlearn!
Forward rolls are getting better, still...John made me try a hard fall by holding onto my wrist. I did a sideways hardfall. Landed right and it didn't hurt, but I swept my legs out too far, instead of going up.
Still a bit dizzy from doing backwards rolls after class...scuffed my head too hard a few times.
Well, brother and sister are starting next week...so that's cool!
