So I'm checking to see if my keikogi is anywhere near dry and my neighbour sticks his head over the fence and says "You've been doing that for years, is it not about time you got your yellow belt?"

Hehe... I have yet to have anyone ask me why I haven't gotten anything more then a white belt.

People love to tease. I remember at the Y, a guy who was staying there and was a security guard by profession, and tall and rather heavy saw me in the lobby and always commented, noticing my black belt and hakama, that he was "scared of" me. Getting comments from non practicioners can be , well, amusing.
