Worked on Morote Dori Ikkyo and Morote Dori Irrimi Nage. I learned that in Ikkyo you are not supposed to push down on the elbow, or shoulder, but rather lift gently on the wrist/ Hand area. It did seem to work better, although I can't seem to do all that well on taking away Ukes balance in this move, they always seem to have it still.
At one point I could not get one of my Ukes to go to the mat no matter what I did, Sensei came over and was Nage with me being Uke, then we switched, it was even worse then, I couldn't get him to move at all. Then we switched again, and I noticed that his hand went up at the beginning before I even grabbed it. WOW, I did that, and it was hard to move him still, but he moved. Rest of that pairing went better, although I still had issues with taking Ukes balance.
Jiyu Waza this is like trying to have a conversation in Spanish when all you can Say is Ola, and Gracis. I kept doing one thing, went down roads that I did not have any clue how to get to the end of etc. Very strange, little flow.
