The meaning of life
Is that it ends,
It is said
So, what to do
Prior to this ending?
Try to prolong it?
Go for quality, only?
Building, enjoying,
Family and friends
And ongoing moments
With focused attention to detail
Of an ever-present Now
A Now that promises eternity
In each drop of time
A journey of samadhi-time
Universal moment
After universal moment
Embracing the sand and pebbles
Of everyday life
All there is
And all there ever will be
Still, prolonging the end
Seems reasonable, too
So, I wear my seat-belt
Take my vitamins
Diligently practice my aikido
And renew my Cryonic
Association's fees
