So, last night we did alot of wepon work. We worked on jo kata 31 , jo kat, boken kat and another one I was tought hte worng thing of so I forgot what it was called.
I lurned also that sometimes when I am not thinking I am better then when I am.
We also worked on some iramanaga in slow mation , working on moving our watie froward.
I like it when we go down to the basics helps me understand what my body is really doing.
I even got conplamented on doing it relly well.

tom reed siad the other night that Zen masters talk of empty mind and that the only way you can truly have an emty mind is not have one at all. So , the next best thing is use all of your mind and sencses. Not to not think but to think about all at once, the way some do in moves. when there attacked and see the chair to use not the fist coming at them.

Sounds like an intense class! I do better when I'm not thinking, too... Now if I could just stop thinking. :-)
