In my dream
I hear the dojo bell ring
We are all lined up
Ready for class
As the last ring fades away
Sensei begins class
My aikido is marvelous
Fluidity and harmony
As natural as warmth
On a summer's day
When I wake up
I still hear the fading bell
But my aikido, my aikido
My aikido still awaits
That summer day
