I want to make something very clear to all you beginners. You must NEVER forget the origins of the art that you are in. Like Aikido, in my personal opinion, Dont put your all into just certain asspecs of your art. If you want to be a master inAikido you must have at least a minimal understanding of Sword. And a dominant understanding of the culture sorounding aikido. What it was derived from, and things like what did ohsensei stand for. Please don't just learn how to fight and defend your self because you are only learning half of the art. I hope you all have a realy good new year.
