	<title><![CDATA[Dolphins Don't Get Heel Spurs]]></title>
	<body><![CDATA[I'll start my first blog with a whine.  Practicing barefoot on a gymnastic floor has become extremely painful because I've manifested middle-age with a bad case of evil plantar faschitis.  I'm contemplating gluing some kind of arch support into lightweight neoprene surf tabis so that I can get through a 2 hour practice without making a 'pained uke' face all practice long, especially while sitting seiza.  I can only use these on carpeted mats because they leave scuff marks on other tatami.  I just don't look forward to wearing neoprene out of water during the summer.  Hot and sweaty--- *yuck* !  I can't handle NSAIDs or aspirin, and ice, arch support off mat and rest just doens't seem to be helping to heal it.  Other treatment options look nasty, so I'm trying to avoid exacerbating the damage.  I looking to increase my practice from 2-3 days a week to 3-4 days before I start school again in the fall...]]></body>
