I found this in a Blackbelt magazine. Sometimes people like to trust every resource they find, which I partially think was involved in the research done here... haven't heard some of these stories before, and I was under the impression that Takeda and Ueshiba did not suffer a relationship of "Jealousy and ill will" as the article claims. Seems odd to me, what your thoughts... http://www.blackbeltmag.com/document_display.cfm?document_id=427

Sounds like a bunch of holes in this article. The author does not cite sources, but I'd be willing to bet some are not credible. You can't believe everything you read or hear, methinks.

It seemed very vague...and pourly written, I could have written a better article in 6th grade....

The three facing the camera to the left of Ueshiba sensei appear to me to be L-R : Mitsunari Kanai, Mitsugi Saotome, and Aikira Tohei.

Two on the right I just can't tell.

Precisely my point... It is odd what people get away with writing. Some things in the article I had heard before, but most seemed like the author was "over-glorifying", making the founder seem superhuman. While we will probably never reach the founders level of understanding, he was indeed human ;) . Therefore we all have the potential, it's just a matter of reaching that potential.
