I am looking for a Japanese language reference in which the term Bun Bu Ichi is used. In English-language Budo texts the term is often used, but I can't find it in Japanese.
I have found lots of texts in Japanese where the equivalent Bun Bu Ryodo is used, but I cannot seem to find anything in Japanese where Bun Bu Ichi is used. A Japanese-language Google search only brings up Chinese texts! Any help to be found out there?
Onegaishimasu!

Did you also bring this up a couple of weeks ago somewhere? I seem to recall someone responding to a similar inquiry...

Good luck finding the ref.

I got a few hits in Japanese for 文武一 on Google. but bunburyodo is much more common.

Best,

Isn't "Bunbu ichi" a misspelling for the word "Bunbu Icchi (文武一'v)"? If then it is a common word in the Japanese language and has the same meanings as "Bunbu Ryodo", although "Bunbu Ryodo" is more commonly used.

Yes - just sloppy romanization :).
