~~A year or two ago I posted asking if anyone knew of a word that meant, roughly, when something is all the more beautiful or poignant because of its acknowledged transitory nature. I'd been trying to find that word again for 15 years! Finally came across it in a fine book called: 'Living the Japanese Arts & Ways' by H.E. Davey.
'furyu'--From two words meaning 'wind' and 'flowing'. It suggests an elegance both tangible and intangible, an inexpressible, ephemeral beauty that can be experienced only in the moment, for in the next instant it well dissolve like the morning mist"
Just thought I'd share that and say thanks to all who tried :D
