Hello from Canada! I am new to this forum and Aikido. This coming Sunday I am starting my first class in Ki Aikido. I took martial arts when I was a kid but that was along time ago. I have wanted to study martial arts for sometime now and decided that 2006 is going to be the year of commitment for me. I am also going to change my career path. One that will allow me to be committed to my wife, my wealth, my happiness and Aikido.

Hi Jason.

Glad to hear you are starting to train. I took a similar path last year and my first step was getting back on the mat after a five year break. I am now healthier, wealthier (I got the drive and ambition to get a better job) and I would say more wise (but I am sure some people would say I am still as nutty as a fruit cake).
