in our school of aikido we learn ...

I should avoid jumping to conclusions and ask which school/instructor that is?

three suburi of ken called matzu no tachi. ume no tachi, and take no tachi ...

I did have the chance to notice that some folks in Europe were doing matsu/pine no tachi, ume/plum no tachi, and take/bamboo no tachi. My impression is that this was limited to a single organization and that these were, obviously, modern waza.

our school is that of the sensei hirokazu kobayashi 8°dan one of the last pupils of o-sensei, who spread aikido in europe during seventies and eighties;he elaborated a style very elegant, strong but not harsh,i would like know if this version of the aikiken, had some roots somewhere
