Thanks Mike. I really enjoyed this. I think respect is acceptance. Everyone trains from where they at and what their body will alow them to do. I was told that every uke is a gift to me. My job is to accept and blend.

Hi Mike, just a line to say I really enjoyed the article, thanks, the quote below was particularly poignant for me!

I look at my Founder of Aikido Bobblehead frequently and think about this article. Respect sometimes seems to be an extremely under-valued practice in today's world.
