My name is John and I've recently moved to Orlando, Fl. I took Aikido under a Fugakukai (or Karl Geis-ryu, or Kihara whatever you want label it) instructer back in Mississippi before moving here. I was wondering if anyone knew of any Aikido instuctors who teach similair to what I've learned. If not, I'll expand into Aikikai, there's plenty of those around. I just thought I'd try to re-connect with something more familiar first :)

Just joined Aikiweb. Maybe I can get a little help here. I just moved to Orlando area Florida, and I'm looking for anyone who can help me get back into Fugakukai (or KiHara, or Karl Geis-ryu, whatever you wanna label it) Aikido. Know any members that can point me in the right direction?

for anyone reading this, ONE of those posts was meant to be put in the introduction section, but somehow ended up as a reply to my own previous statement...weird.

I was wondering. :D

I live pretty far south of you, and I don't know anybody in Orlando since Baker sensei passed away. Good luck in your search! :)

Vero and Sarasota are both too far away to travel on a daily basis for him. But I know there are quite a few dojos in the Orlando metropolitan area. Just check the dojo search engine here and you'll find a few. Shop around and find which schools you like.

Try Jose Andrade Sensei in Orlando. He is a very giving man and a terrific instructor. I truly enjoyed my experience with him and several of his students at the last Aiki Expo.
