Are there any stats on AikiWeb re the nationality of members? I couldn't find a thread or a poll on it - though I'm not the smartest with these infernal machines :confused:

I'd guess:


USA 70%
UK and Republic of Ireland 10% :D
Canada 5%
SE Asia 5%
Continental European 5%
Japan 2%
Australasia 2%
South American 2%
Russian/ ex soviet countries 2%
Other 1%

That's 104% I know ;)

It would be good if it were possible to sort the members list by country, but I appreciate this may be be a big job to set up.

Well....

Regarding figures and statistics, my father used to say, "Figures never lie. But liars figure."

I would tend to agree that the majority of posters (not necessarily members) here are American, followed closely by those nationalities of english speaking nations (i.e. Great Britain, Ireland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and certain Asian nations.) Beyond that, I haven't a clue.
