Well. I just got introduced to my first Jo kata. Niju Ni. or 22 Kata. I am not even close to having it memorized so I was wondering if anyone knew of a good resource or reference, like videos or illustrated step by step guides to this kata and any other katas that I am going to learn it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Aww, crud! I can't remamber the author of a pretty good book on the subject. I might still be able to help you with just the title, though. "Jo: The Japanese Short Staff" is a good reference. If I remember to check for the author when I get home, I'll let you know tomorrow. :D

I don't know if its the same kata, but there is a 22-step one in Aikido and the Dynamic Sphere.
