Hello,

I recently bought Steven Seagal's DVD "Into The Sun". I had read the review on the "ALL MOVIE GUIDE" site, and thought it sounded like a good buy. However, when I actually bought the DVD, it had very little in common with the aforementioned review!

In my copy, there's a photo of Seagal walking away from and explosion with an M-60 strapped to his back - yet, this scene does NOT appear in the film!

So, here's the question - has anyone ever seen the full, uncut version of this film? And if so - where can you buy it?

Disappointed,
iain.

I guess I'm wasting my time here. I'll try other sites.

Not much "Spirit of Aikido" here, I guess. Sorry to intrude. My apologies to all.

:sorry:

Iain - Seagal's direct to video releases have all shown pictures on the cover of scenes that do not appear in the film - they are out together by computer. They are made up shots. Many films do this, not just Seagal's. The DVD you have IS the full, uncut version, provided, of course, you bought the region one DVD.

I actually rented this movie after looking at the cover it looked very coool!!!! But much to my disapointment this movie was terrible one good Aikido style fight seen and the rest of the movie was Seagal babbling on about nothing. With all do respect to seagal his earlier movies were alot better. I do not know what happened but he is the reason I started in Aikido, I just wish more Aikido was in movies it looks great on screen.
My opinion renting that movie is a bad idea I want my $4 back

Hi John,

Oops - I've got the region 2 one, so that explains it. Thanks for letting me know. I think I'll keep this one anyway, as there are some excellent sword fight scenes. I also love Seagal's sardonic witticisms, and the fact that he is COOL personified!

Many thanks,
iain.
