View Full Version : Ignore List
Hi folks,
Tired of reading something from that one particular person who just bugs the heck out of you? The Forums now has the feature to put that person onto your Ignore List so that you no longer see any posts from that person!
Just take note of that person's username and go to your Edit Ignore List Page (http://www.aikiweb.com/forums/member2.php?action=viewlist&userlist=ignore) through your User Control Panel (http://www.aikiweb.com/forums/usercp.php) and enter their username -- that's it!
You can always take that person off your Ignore List just by clearing out that person's field.
Just another little feature here on AikiWeb Forums that I hope people will find handy...

Hi Jun;
Sounds good - not that I would every use the facillity but I wonder if it would be possible to view the list or at least how many times you have been put on it. Sort of how bad have I been?
Hi Peter,
No, I can't say that feature is there (yet)... I'll keep it in mind, though. Maybe it could show up in your profile or something, huh?

Yeah, you could have a graphic depicting the levels of a step function of badness.
The graphic would, of course, have to be suggestive...
I'm getting all these visuals....
You could start out with a normal face, progress through a guy with a dunce hat on and end up with a irritating looking donkey.
Regards,
sounds an excellent idea Jun,
I doubt if anyone will actually use it, but it will put a to stop people whining about other people's e-mails.

At the end of the month you could do a poll, and see who is the most ignored. But that is a bit horrible.
